    Topic: STRETCH YOUR LIMITS (Part 3)!

    Bible Text: ‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭ ‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭54:2‭-‬3‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

    2. ‭‭Enlarge the place of your tent, and let them stretch out the curtains of your dwellings; Do not spare; Lengthen your cords, And strengthen your stakes.
    3. For you shall expand to the right and to the left, And your descendants will inherit the nations, And make the desolate cities inhabited.

    INSPIRATION: Talking about stretching your limits, we often take some key things for granted. What would it cost you to review your processes and Standard Operating Procedures to assume a global status? How about rewriting your resume to make you more competitive? Does your proposals have the essential details that could give your a competitive edge when you peach for contracts? What's your engagement portfolio like on LinkedIn and social interactive sites that could put you constantly in the faces of those who might need your services?

    Have you considered registering your business and getting licenced to operate legally? Knowledge is progessively dynamic. Hence, you cannot effectively operate using outdated certificates or obsolete ideas. Your knowledge gap and operating system needs urgent updating. When your device software is outdated, it slows down, malfunctions or some applications just shutdown. Except you expand your mind, you cannot conceptualise some level of higher thoughts let alone being able to execute them. That's why you must stretch!

    TODAY'S TAKE HOME:

    The call to stretch your limits may appear inconveniencing but its benefits to self far outweighs the discipline required to so do.

    PRAYER: Dear Lord, help me to lift up every limit placed on my ability to achieve greatness. Guide me to holistically review all my processes, upgrade my knowledge base and to do things differently this year, in Jesus name.

    INSPIRATION: Isaiah comes with a divine matching order: "Enlarge the place of your tent..." In other words, refuse to be content with smallness. Whilst it's okay to start small, be willing to skillfully exert and apply yourself to achieve greatness. It is God's intent to see your expand, and He's made resources available to achieve this. If you stay complacent, your goals and objectives would not translate themselves into results on their own. Lofty ideas do not turn themselves to achieveable goals just like that.

    "Enlarge the place of your tent and let them stretch out the curtains of your dwellings!" As your expansion kicks in, cover your tracks. Leave nothing to chance. Have a holistic approach to life. No aspect of your life should be left uncatered to. He says to "lengthen your cords and strengthen your stakes." These words are too direct and piercing to the core to be taken at surface level. Break every limit imposed by stereotypes and myths about boundaries. Overflow your bounds.

    TODAY'S TAKE HOME:

    Know all the rules but break some! Be ruthlessly aggressive or uncompromising in the pursuit of your objectives.

    PRAYER: Dear Lord, help me to imbibe the culture of stretching my mind until I see results. Help me to think and see the many possibilities I could become when I action my beliefs and stretch my mind to attain same, in Jesus name.

    Topic: THE ANGEL IN EVERY MAN!

    Memory Verse: ‭‭"Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares" - Hebrews 13:2 KJV

    Bible Text: ‭‭‭‭‭Genesis 18:1-2 KJV

    1. And the LORD appeared unto him in the plains of Mamre: and he sat in the tent door in the heat of the day;
    2. And he lift up his eyes and looked, and, lo, three men stood by him: and when he saw them, he ran to meet them from the tent door, and bowed himself toward the ground,

    INSPIRATION: It has been commonly said that in everyman, there's a king and a child or beast. The one you entreat is the one that would manifest. As it is true in relation to the opposite gender when romance and family is involved, so it is with every other form of interpersonal relationships. Your ability to discern individuals correctly and tap into their areas of strength and grace will advance your life in no small measure. Many of us are yet to understand, let alone appreciate the incredible power of the gift of men. God grants us access to certain people whose true identity are never ever revealed. It's to your disadvantage to treat them casually as any other man.

    Samson reveals something unique to Delilah, "... if I be shaven, then my strength will go from me, and I shall become weak, and be like any other man" (Judges 16:17). It suggests that not everyone falls into the generalised classless cadre. So Abraham sees certain men pass by, he runs to meet and beg them to stop by to be refreshed. How did he know these were not ordinary men? You must sharpen your discernment if rare opportunities must not pass you by. You neighbours, colleagues, conference attendees, bosses or a janitor might just be your instrument of breakthrough.

    The accomplished army general, Naaman, in all his loftiness, didn't realise a maid in his house was his healing gateway (2 Kings 5: 3). She didn't look it, just like the men didn't look like angels, but they were God's messengers carrying His mandate. Despising men who may no dress the part is an acute form of shortsightedness. Lots of great opportunities have been lost for speaking uncharitably to people on God's rescue mission to help you. Develop a healthy habit of treating people nicely, not because you seek any reward or favours in return. You never can tell who's an angel!

    TODAY'S TAKE HOME:

    Opportunities do not always dress in the attires we expect to see them in. They're often disguised as work or problems. So also are destiny helpers. Entreat the angel in men or be doomed by the beast in them.

    PRAYER: Dear Lord, I receive grace to treat people cautiously, to discern men correctly and to entreat the gifts of men. I refuse to pass off opportunities due to my errors in judgment. I'm empowered to honour rather than despise anyone. Grant me wisdom to harness and maximise the access I've with the people You bring into my circle always, in Jesus name, Amen.
