Emma River-Roberts is founder and director of the Working Class Climate Alliance, a not-for-profit membership organisation which trains and advises organisations on social class and climate change. The WCCA works with academics, campaigners and civil society groups across the world to put class at the centre of their climate work.

In this second episode of the Jukebox podcast, Emma highlights the importance of making the climate movement more inclusive of working-class communities, stresses the need to challenge class inequalities and the opportunities to build collective power through community connections, and reflects on the emotional toll the climate crisis is taking on us as it unfolds.

Jukebox is a podcast by The Miracle Inn, hosted by Dr Morgan Phillips. On the Jukebox podcast we ask each guest to choose three songs they'd put on The Miracle Inn jukebox if they were ever to visit. The songs are a starting point for a conversation about their work and their ideas, but we also get to know them a little bit more too.

The Miracle Inn is a community interest company and membership organisation focused on tackling the phenomenon of hyper-individualism.

Emma's 'accidently on purpose' item
