WrestleDream is around the corner, and AEW gave us three and a half hours of Dynamite and Collision to get ready. Was it a great go home show, or did AEW try to cram a little too much into one night?

This week on Elite Heat, Tim and Dug break down the final build to AEW WrestleDream 2026, including the Clockwork Carnage qualifying matches and Adam Copeland's emotional announcement that 2027 will be his final year in professional wrestling.

We discuss whether AEW missed an opportunity to elevate Myron Reed and Ace Austin, why Darby Allin vs. Hechicero stole the show, the future of Hangman Page and Swerve Strickland, and the best-of-five series between FTR and the Motor City Machine Guns.

Plus, Jon Moxley has a bizarre backstage meltdown, Nick Wayne and Chris Jericho deliver a segment that overstays its welcome, and a mysterious teaser has us wondering who's coming to AEW.

Then it's prediction time! We pick the entire WrestleDream card, debate whether Will Ospreay can survive Clockwork Carnage, and Dug comes up with a wild twist involving Hangman and Swerve that might actually be brilliant.

AEW went international for Grand Slam Paris, and Tim and Dug are breaking down a Dynamite that delivered two legitimate Match of the Night contenders.

Was Kyle Fletcher vs. Darby Allin even better than Kazuchika Okada vs. Will Ospreay? The guys debate their first-ever co-Matches of the Night after two different but outstanding performances.

They also dig into AEW’s new Clockwork Carnage match and whether a match requiring “Phase One” and “Phase Two” might already be a little too complicated. Plus: Samoa Joe vs. Jack Perry, the strange direction of Perry’s current story, Jon Moxley and Gabe Kidd finding chemistry as a team, Queen Aminata’s strong showing against Mercedes Moné, Thekla continuing to get increasingly over, and Nick Wayne adding some fuel to his rivalry with Chris Jericho.

Tim and Dug also question whether Swerve Strickland and Hangman Page overshadowed Bandido vs. Kofi Kingston, and look ahead to what that could mean for WrestleDream.

Plus, the Paris crowd brings the heat, Tony Schiavone delivers an unfortunate Quote of the Night, and the Clockwork Carnage match desperately needs Orange Cassidy for reasons that should be obvious.

This is not a normal episode of Elite Heat.

Following an emotional edition of AEW Dynamite honoring the life of PAC, Tim and Dug reflect on a night that was heartbreaking, beautiful, and at times almost impossible to process.

They discuss the remarkable composure of Excalibur, Tony Schiavone, Renee Paquette, Jon Moxley, Bryce Remsburg, Orange Cassidy and the rest of the AEW roster as they paid tribute to someone who clearly meant an enormous amount to the people around him.

Tim and Dug also look back at PAC’s career, from WWE and NXT to Death Triangle, the Death Riders and some of the incredible matches he gave wrestling fans throughout his career, and talk about why his greatness may sometimes have been taken for granted simply because he was so consistently excellent.

Mostly, this episode is simply our way of saying thank you.
