Throughout history, there has generally been a lone figure who dares to take on the enemy of the age. Demonstrating leadership inspires others to join the effort, ultimately leading to success for the entire community. Our guest today, Lance Lamberton, decided he had had enough of government overreach in Cobb County, Georgia and he determined to take a stand against it.
Lamberton is the founder and chairman of the Cobb Taxpayers Association, and he has worked tirelessly to reduce taxes and government spending at the state and local levels.
Lamberton worked previously as the Deputy Director of the White House Office of Policy Information during President Ronald Reagan’s first term. As chairman of the Cobb Taxpayers Association, he played a key leadership role in opposing the 2005 and 2011 Cobb County Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax referendums, as well as the regional Transportation-SPLOST, which Cobb County voters rejected with 69 percent in opposition.
Lamberton resides with his wife in Austell, Georgia, and works as a media relations consultant for VNR-1 Communications.
