    This week’s Spotlight On Springfield features Superintendent Chalmers – a man known to his mother as Gary and to Ralf Wiggum as Super Nintendo Chalmers. We look at his tense, uneasy relationship with Principal Skinner and explore the theory that, like the hapless Frank Grimes, Chalmers has one foot in the real world and one foot in the chaos that is Springfield.

We discuss the subtle differences between the twin Gorgons and trace the history of their failed romantic attachments and their successful hate-hate relationship with brother-in-law Homer. Meanwhile, the semi-regular Songs Of Springfield segment sees us donning our skimpiest outfits in honour of the barnstorming number at the end of the Season 8 moral conundrum that is Bart After Dark.
