Boundaries… you’ve been learning about them since you were old enough to hold a crayon. Color inside the lines and you get a pretty picture. Scribble with no regard for the lines and you end up with colorful chaos. In a coloring book, ignoring the lines and crossing the boundaries doesn’t matter. But the boundaries that exist in our world serve significant purposes, and crossing them sometimes comes with serious consequences. We are in week 8 of our series, Earth 1.0: In the Beginning…the World We Lost. Over the past several weeks, we've been taking a deeper look at the ultimate origin story recorded in the book of Genesis. And we're discovering that there's more to the story we think we know, than we ever realized. This week, we'll see boundaries not just crossed, but broken; and the result is not just chaotic, it's catastrophic. Our service is at 11 AM on Sunday.
