Philadelphia Eagles fans witnessed one of the most embarrassing defensive performances of the Vic Fangio era as the defense struggled against the Dallas Cowboys. Stars like Jordan Davis and Jalen Carter failed to make an impact, while the secondary—featuring Riq Woolen and Cooper DeJean—was outmatched and unable to provide support or generate big plays. With the defensive line recording zero sacks and Dak Prescott facing almost no pressure, the lackluster effort raises questions about how the Eagles can recover defensively moving forward.

Amidst the defensive struggles, Makai Lemon emerged with a breakout game, notching 7 catches, 67 yards, and a touchdown to spark hope for the Eagles offense. The offensive line, anchored by Jordan Mailata and Landon Dickerson, showed improvement, especially in the run game despite Saquon Barkley’s hamstring injury. Can this offense maintain momentum and will the defense bounce back, or is a tough season ahead for Philadelphia?
