概要
Jason Herd — also known as Juan Kidd — went from saving lives as a paramedic in Manchester to becoming one of house music’s most respected names. After discovering the rave scene, he left the ambulance behind and began a journey that would take him to the world’s biggest clubs and festivals.
He went on to create era-defining tracks like “I Just Can’t Get Enough” and the Beatport No.1 “Now You’re Gone,” playing everywhere from Space Ibiza to Creamfields. But when EDM took over and soulful, vocal house was pushed aside, Jason was forced to navigate a changing industry, rebuild his love for music and find a new path.
Now, he’s channelling that journey into helping the next generation through Subtone Electronic Music Academy — a space for aspiring producers to learn and develop their craft.
This is a raw, honest conversation about passion, reinvention and staying true to your sound even when the scene moves on.
