Join us on Episode 51 of the Pastor | Scholar Podcast as we explore Paul's fascinating use of the Old Testament with Dr. Brent Belford, Faculty Associate of Pastoral Studies at Virginia Beach Theological Seminary. We discuss how Paul brings together passages of Scripture through composite quotations, how this practice relates to other writings of his time, and why it matters for understanding the New Testament. Does Paul's method of quoting the Old Testament raise questions about the inerrancy and infallibility of God's Word, or is there more to understand about how Scripture was used in the first century?
