  • Swansea Top after 5 games and Jamie Vardy to Burnley?
    2026/09/07

Hugh Woozencroft is joined by former Norwich City striker Cameron Jerome to reflect on all of the major talking points from a dramatic weekend across the EFL!

We kick things off at the summit of the Championship, casting a spotlight on high-flying Swansea City as they continue to turn heads at the top of the table. Meanwhile, questions are being asked about whether Bristol City are the real deal after stringing together three wins on the spin. At the other end of the division, bottom-of-the-league Burnley have pulled off a major coup by bringing veteran striker Jamie Vardy back to English football as they look to kickstart their campaign.

Over in League One, the pressure is dialling up rapidly on Russell Martin after Leicester City were heavily beaten 4-0 at home by Oxford United, leaving the pre-season promotion favourites floundering down in 17th place.
