In This Episode: Quitting tends to have a negative connotation to it. But sometimes, quitting is good, and even necessary. In today’s episode, we sit down with Nic "Darwin" Rakestraw and discuss learning your body’s limits and reading the tea leaves for when to quit. We get into some of the nitty gritty about his attempted bike race on the Tour Divide Trail from Banff to Mexico, including his injuries (saddle rash and an Achilles issue) that ultimately led to his pulling out of the race. Our conversation also covers post-trail depression and advice to folks who have to make that decision to quit on trail.
A big thanks to Darwin for joining us on today’s episode!
