Today’s episode was recorded in partnership with flaconi, Germany’s leading online destination for beauty and fragrance. And it’s one of those conversations that reminded me why I love doing this podcast so much.
We're sitting down with Alicia Lindner, who runs a third-generation family business in the beauty industry called Annemarie Börlind. But this conversation is about so much more than a brand story. We talk about growing up surrounded by the scent of plant oils and flowers drifting out of a laboratory in the Black Forest and what it means to carry a legacy without turning it into something rigid.
We also talk about sibling leadership, building and growing the brand independently, the spirit of the Schwarzwald, and the beauty industry as it looks today. But also about very human things. Like why skipping lunch is never a good idea and why the forest can be the best mentor when everything feels a bit too loud.
This episode is thoughtful and honest. Alicia became an immediate star of the show. Please tune in and enjoy the energy that this episode will give you!
