• Your Salary Can Disappear Overnight. Here’s What To Do
    2026/09/04

What happens when the salary you depend on disappears overnight?

In this episode of Dubai Stars Podcast, we sit down with Anis, a Chief Cash Flow Strategist, entrepreneur, investor, and trader, to break down one of the biggest financial misconceptions: earning a salary is not the same as building cash flow.

After years climbing the corporate ladder and reaching senior management positions, Anis faced a major career turning point in 2018. Suddenly, the predictable monthly salary was gone. That experience pushed him toward entrepreneurship, financial education, investing, and eventually building income streams designed around one principle: cash flow first.

We go deep into the mistakes, wins, losses, and strategies that changed the way he looks at money.

One of the biggest lessons came from his early investing years. After making roughly 12–13% in his first year, he followed it with approximately 87% the next year, then suffered around a 90% loss the year after. That experience completely changed his approach to investing and risk.

Anis explains that his focus is not buying investments simply hoping their value increases. His philosophy centers around owning assets capable of generating recurring income, whether through real estate, bonds or investment strategies.

He also explains his approach to selling options, where he looks for probability-based setups rather than constantly trying to predict whether markets will rise or fall. During the conversation, he describes strategies targeting around 1–1.5% monthly returns, while emphasizing consistency over trying to become rich from one trade.

    Another major topic is psychology.

Markets are driven heavily by human emotion. Fear, greed, breaking news and unexpected events can move prices within seconds. Anis explains why controlling emotion and staying disciplined became a major part of his investment philosophy.

He also explains which news events he actually pays attention to, including earnings announcements, CPI, PPI and other major reports capable of creating significant market volatility.

This conversation is not about getting rich overnight.

It is about understanding money, risk, cash flow, entrepreneurship and how experienced investors think differently about financial freedom.

If you're an entrepreneur, business owner, investor, trader, or simply trying to understand how money can work for you instead of depending entirely on your monthly salary, this episode is worth watching until the end.

  • He Was Dead for 20 Minutes… Then Built a $30M Business
    2026/08/28

What happens when your entire life changes in a matter of seconds?

In this episode of Dubai Stars Podcast, Anthony Joseph AJ sits down with Yannick Rebsamen, whose story is one of survival, mindset, reinvention, and refusing to let circumstances decide what happens next.

On December 24, 2018, Yannick’s life changed forever. A young footballer in Switzerland, he was involved in a devastating train accident in Zurich that resulted in the loss of both of his legs. Doctors later told him he had been clinically dead for approximately 20 minutes. Instead of seeing the accident as the end of his life, Yannick describes it as his rebirth and his second birthday.

What followed was an extraordinary mental and personal transformation.

Within days of the accident, Yannick began asking a different question: not Why did this happen to me? but What can I do now?

He started rebuilding his independence one small challenge at a time, working on his mindset, meditating, studying himself, and learning to focus on what he could still control. Today, he says the accident became one of the best things that ever happened to him because it gave him a second chance at life.

But his story didn’t stop with recovery.

While still recovering, Yannick saw an opportunity to build a different future. Just one week after the accident, while still heavily medicated, he purchased an e-commerce course and began learning online business. His first online sale was only around $8, but it proved something to him: it worked.

Within his first six months, he says he generated around $100,000 and eventually left his job at Mercedes. Over the following years, he immersed himself in e-commerce, affiliate marketing, copywriting, human behavior and marketing, experiencing major wins alongside losses, blocked bank accounts and lawsuits. Yanic says that across roughly eight years, he generated around $30 million through his business journey and now operates a payment provider in Brazil.

This conversation goes much deeper than money.

Anthony and Yannick discuss why understanding human behavior can be more valuable than chasing individual business tactics, why Yannick refuses to become another e-commerce course seller, how controlling your thoughts can change the direction of your life, and why failure and loss became some of his greatest teachers.

They also discuss Yannick’s decision to make Dubai his main base, what attracted him to the city from a young age, the ambition and international environment he finds here, and why being surrounded by people achieving at a high level continues to motivate him.

Toward the end of the conversation, Yannick opens up about something even more personal: happiness.

For him, happiness is no longer about temporary pleasure, money or constantly chasing the next thing. It comes from being proud of himself, making progress, helping other people and knowing his experience can prove that circumstances do not have to define what someone becomes.

Yannick is now preparing to share more of his story publicly through speaking and his own framework around mind awareness, with one central message:

Everything is possible when you learn to control your mind.

If this episode gives you a different perspective on adversity, mindset or what is possible after life knocks you down, share it with someone who needs to hear Yannick’s story.

  • Are Real Estate Brokerages Becoming Obsolete? | Frank AI
    2026/08/14

Is the traditional real estate brokerage model becoming outdated?

In this episode of Dubai Stars Podcast, Anthony Joseph sits down with Wael & Rima, Co-Founders of Frank AI, to explore a different vision for the future of real estate: one where technology, AI and automation can change how brokers work, earn and build their careers.

The conversation looks at the problems agents face inside traditional brokerage structures and why the industry may be ready for a major shift. From commission structures and operating costs to independence, technology and scalability, this episode challenges some of the assumptions the real estate industry has operated on for years.

Wael & Rima share the thinking behind Frank AI and the idea of creating a technology-driven real estate ecosystem designed around the broker rather than the traditional office structure.

    🏙️ In this episode:

    • Why the traditional real estate brokerage model is being questioned
    • How AI could reshape the role of real estate agents
    • The idea behind 100% commission
    • Why brokers may no longer need the traditional boss-and-office structure
    • How technology can reduce friction in real estate transactions
    • Faster and more efficient commission processes
    • The challenges of building and scaling a brokerage
    • What agents actually need to succeed in a competitive market
    • How Dubai continues to push innovation within real estate
    • What the next generation of real estate brokerage could look like

The bigger question is not whether AI will enter real estate. It already has.

The question is how much of the traditional brokerage model will still be necessary once agents have access to better technology, automation and infrastructure?

Whether you're a real estate broker, agency owner, entrepreneur, investor or simply interested in the future of Dubai real estate and PropTech, this conversation offers a different perspective on where the industry could be heading.

  • Why Dubai's Property Maintenance Is Broken
    2026/08/07

Dubai’s property market is growing at an extraordinary speed—but what happens after the handover, when something breaks inside the property? 🏠🔧

In this episode of Dubai Stars Podcast, Martin, Founder and CEO of Maintained, shares how he is building a community-based property maintenance business designed to solve some of Dubai’s most common maintenance problems: delayed technicians, poor communication, unfinished repairs, inconsistent service and unsafe working practices.

Martin’s journey started in a small village in Romania. In 2014, he travelled to the United Kingdom with his brother, limited English and no clear plan. After arriving at Luton Airport with only a suitcase, he worked his way up from being a lollipop man and traffic marshal to becoming a senior site manager in London’s construction industry.

He later took the risk of leaving a secure career to launch his own business. His first company grew rapidly to approximately 160 employees, but after its biggest client collapsed, the business was pulled down with it. Instead of giving up, Martin used the experience to enter the property maintenance sector and build a new company around the gaps he saw in the market.

After discovering Dubai, he immediately recognised the scale of the opportunity. Today, Maintained operates with a community-focused model, placing offices and technicians close to the residents they serve. The goal is simple: faster response times, familiar technicians, stronger accountability and a better experience for homeowners, tenants, landlords and property managers.

    In this episode, Martin explains:

🔧 Why Dubai’s property maintenance sector needs to change
🏠 The most common maintenance problems residents experience
⏱️ How a community-based model can achieve faster response times
👷 Why technical ability alone is not enough
🤝 The importance of technician etiquette inside a customer’s home
🎓 How regular training can improve service quality and safety
🛡️ Why health and safety must never be sacrificed to reduce costs
📋 How property health reports can help prevent expensive future problems
🏗️ Why maintenance should begin during property development—not after handover
📈 How Maintained expanded to more than 50 team members and multiple offices
🌍 Why Dubai allows entrepreneurs to build businesses for generations
🚀 Martin’s plans to expand across Dubai, Abu Dhabi and other communities

The conversation also explores the mistakes landlords can make when choosing the cheapest maintenance option. A lower initial price can lead to repeated repairs, poor workmanship, unsafe procedures and significantly higher costs over time.

Martin also explains why property maintenance should not be treated only as a reactive service. By inspecting a property properly, identifying risks early and working with developers from the beginning, maintenance companies can help protect the property’s condition, value and long-term performance.

    This episode is essential for:

    🏡 Property owners and landlords
🏢 Real estate professionals and property managers
    🔧 Maintenance and facilities-management professionals
    🏗️ Developers and construction companies
🚀 Entrepreneurs building businesses in Dubai
🌍 Anyone interested in Martin’s journey from Romania to London and Dubai

Martin’s story is a reminder that failure can become the beginning of a stronger business. From arriving in London without connections to building and losing his first company—and then launching a rapidly expanding operation in Dubai—his journey is built on resilience, calculated risk and the determination to improve an entire industry.
