First, the Enterprise heads back into fantasy territory as La’an confronts her past while the crew finds themselves surrounded by storybook doppelgängers, an evil wizard, a queen, a dragon, and one scene-stealing dog. Then “Tomorrow’s Enterprise” sends Uhura into a time-bending mystery connecting two versions of the Enterprise, Kirk and Pike, Scotty, Ortegas, a black hole, a white hole, and yes, a space baby.
The guys dig into the episodes’ character development, callbacks to classic Trek, connections to The Animated Series, the road toward the familiar TOS crew, and whether this season finale feels like it was designed to serve as an ending if Season 5 never happened. Plus, there’s some DC Lanterns talk, character-actor appreciation, wedding chaos, Gundams, Toronto adventures, and the usual detours along the way.
