A promise in the forests of Belize became a life's work. Dr. Rosita Arvigo shares the story of thirteen years learning from Maya healer Don Eligio Panti—and the responsibility that came with that knowledge.

I speak with Rosita about plants, prayer, spiritual bathing, and the relationship between a healer and a community. Her account is rich with the details that rarely fit into a wellness trend: years of observation, daily work, gratitude, and a commitment to care for the people around her.
