We learn that water is solid, liquid, or gas. Gerald Pollack asks us to look again. In this conversation, he explains the observations behind his fourth-phase model and the questions that keep him investigating.

I sit down with Pollack to explore exclusion-zone (EZ) water, charge separation, and experiments involving light. We follow the path from a surprising laboratory observation to a much larger idea about water and living systems.

IN THIS CONVERSATION
• What Pollack means by exclusion-zone water
• How his team studied water near certain surfaces
• Why he compares separated electrical charges to a battery
• The role of infrared light in his experiments
• Scientific disagreement and the value of revisiting familiar assumptions

Bring your curiosity. This episode presents Pollack's research and proposed model; its wider implications for human health remain questions, rather than a demonstrated treatment or a reason to buy a water product.
