  • 30 | It's Not Just a Friendship: Boundaries, Clarity, and Heart Connection
    2025/06/25

Are you calling something a friendship just to make yourself feel better about a situationship? In this episode, I’m sharing some things I’ve learned (and unlearned) about friendship, dating, and the blurry space in between. I talk about what it really means to set boundaries that honor your value and how even good conversation and emotional connection aren’t enough without clarity and consistency. If you’ve ever found yourself giving too much too soon, hoping it might become more later… this episode will feel like the confirmation you didn’t know you needed.

    Topics I Cover:

    • Why I refuse to call it a friendship when it’s really a situationship
    • The danger of mistaking emotional connection for consistency and commitment
    • How I’m shifting from flirty energy to intentional energy
    • Why “bare minimum” behaviors shouldn’t feel like chemistry
    • Boundaries I’ve set to protect my heart and my peace
    • What “we’re just talking” can cost you when it’s not clear
    • Encouragement for married and single women on protecting their voice, values, and vulnerability

    This week’s affirmation:

I am open and available to intentional friendships.

  • 29 | What’s for You Is for You… Only If You’re Obedient
    2025/06/11

Can you really miss what’s meant for you? I used to hear people say “What’s for you is for you,” but I’ve lived long enough - and disobeyed just enough - to know it’s not always that simple. In this episode, I’m getting honest about a recent moment where I planned something God didn’t ask me to do… and how it taught me to stop crowding out what He’s trying to give me. If you’ve ever moved too fast, said yes out of fear, or ignored the whisper you knew was Him - I promise this will hit home.

You won’t miss what’s yours - as long as you’re willing to move with God. Disobedience may delay it, but repentance reopens the door. What’s for you still requires your commitment.

    Topics I Cover:

    • Why “what’s for you is for you” is only half the story
    • How disobedience (even with good intentions) can block the very thing you’re praying for
    • A real-life story of planning an event God never asked me to host
    • Why a whisper from God is still a word you need to honor
    • The power of saying no even when opportunities look “aligned” on paper
    • What to do if you’ve already said yes to something that wasn’t yours

    This week’s affirmation:

“I’m ready, willing, and aligned. I receive what’s mine and move in faith.”

  • 28 | Stop Replaying the Mistake - God Is Trying to Do a New Thing (Birthday episode - part 2)
    2025/06/04

Have you ever looked back and realized… you're living like it's still five years ago? In Part Two of my birthday reflection, I share what happened when I booked a trip the same way I used to back in 2018 and how God interrupted it all to remind me that I’m not that version of me anymore. We talk about what it really means to receive the new thing, why “what’s for you” still requires obedience, and the kind of release that makes room for freedom. If you’ve been clinging to old habits, old fears, or old ways of thinking, this is for you.

The blessing might be ready, but it still needs a willing heart to receive it. Let go of what was. Trust what’s becoming. And make room for it all.

    Topics I Cover:

    • The scripture that’s guiding me this season (Isaiah 43:18)
    • Why looking back can cost you more than you think
    • The myth of “if it’s for you, you won’t miss it”- and the truth about responsibility
    • How one decision in Aruba revealed an old mindset I didn’t know I still had
    • What to ask yourself if you’re still living like it’s a past version of you
    • How I’m choosing release, obedience, and softness in this next year

    This week’s affirmation:

I am open and available to all the goodness that God has for me.

  • 27 | Why You’re Still Tired: The Hidden Cost of Carrying What God Told You to Release (Birthday episode - part 1)
    2025/05/26

What have you been holding onto that God already told you to release? In this birthday reflection episode, I get real about the things I’ve been looking back at - old jobs, old versions of myself, former ways of doing business, and even pictures from when I thought I was “better.” But here’s what I realized: sometimes the rearview mirror is stealing your ability to see the blessing in front of you. This isn’t just a talk about getting older - it’s about growing freer. If you’ve been stuck in past success, past pain, or just past patterns, this is the episode you didn’t know you needed.

Your past may be a part of your story, but it’s not the end of it. Don’t let what was keep you from what still can be.

    Topics I Cover:

    • Why turning 45 made me reflect on the weight of the past
    • What Lot’s wife taught me about disobedience and looking back
    • How I unknowingly made weight and size an idol for 30 years
    • Why you can’t use year-one strategies in your year-ten business
    • Releasing old rest routines, old friendships, and former identities
    • The cost of holding onto a job God already asked me to release
    • How fixating on past wins and old names keeps us from present power

    This week’s affirmation:

You are amazing. You are worthy.

  • 26 | You Are Not Incompleter: A Coaching Conversation About Identity, Trust, and Timing (coaching call with Jerrod O Lockhart - part 2)
    2025/05/14

What if that unfinished dream isn’t a failure, but a pause with a purpose? In Part Two of this coaching session, Jerrod opens up about his journey toward completing a doctorate in social work, the moment life got in the way, and the internal weight he’s carried ever since. I speak directly to the shame that can come with unfinished goals, the lies we tell ourselves when things don’t go according to plan, and the truth about what it really means to “complete” something. This episode will speak to anyone who’s ever had to stop, shift, or reframe the story they’ve been carrying.

The world may reward completion, but God often works in the pause. Your worth is not on hold, just your timeline.

    Topics I Cover:

    • Why we sometimes link our worth to academic or professional success
    • The emotional toll of pausing a dream, especially when you’re used to achievement
    • How shame shows up as identity (and why that’s not the truth)
    • The difference between failure and life simply happening
    • How to ask for help - from your school, your network, or even ChatGPT
    • Why trusting the pause is sometimes the real test
    • What to say to yourself when you feel like “an incomplete”

    This week’s affirmation:

“ You are not an incompleter.”

  • 25 | Ready to Lead? Then Stop Using Safe Words and Start Owning Your Message (coaching call with Jerrod O Lockhart - part 1)
    2025/05/07

Have you ever felt like the words you’re using to describe your mission don’t quite capture your heart? In this live coaching session, I sat down with Jerrod O Lockhart, a licensed social worker with over 20 years of experience — and a deeply personal reason for the work he does. We tackle the subtle but powerful shift that happens when you stop using “safe” language and start saying exactly who you’re here to serve. This episode isn’t just about a mission statement, it’s about reclaiming your voice so that your purpose lands with truth and impact. Are you ready to get honest with yourself too?

The words you choose can either blur your purpose or sharpen it. Let this be the episode that nudges you toward saying exactly what you mean — for your audience and for yourself.

    Topics I Cover:

    • Why the word “marginalized” wasn’t serving Jerrod’s true mission
    • The difference between politically correct language and purpose-driven language
    • How using clear, affirming words can change the way people connect with your work
    • The cultural weight and assumptions placed on Black boys — and why naming them as boys (not men) matters
    • The emotional power of bringing personal stories into your mission (and how Jerrod did it with courage)
    • Simple tweaks that can make your mission statement feel both personal and powerful

    This week’s affirmation:

You are feeling all the emotions. Allow yourself to feel.

  • 24 | Speaking While Healing: How to Step Into the Spotlight Without Shrinking (coaching session with Jai Robinson - part 2)
    2025/04/30

What do you do after the breakthrough - when you’ve uncovered the truth, but now you’re being called to share it out loud? In Part Two of this powerful coaching session, I walk with Jai through the moments after her emotional shift. We talk about how to prepare for her upcoming talk, how to speak while still healing, and how to stop shrinking in rooms where you’ve always felt small. We walk through how to handle the nerves, how to let the audience carry some of the weight, and how to show up fully without feeling like you have to perform. If you’ve ever wondered how to speak while still in process, this conversation will meet you right where you are. Your voice still matters - even now.

You don’t have to wait until you’re “fixed” to show up. Your voice, in its realness and rawness, is exactly what someone else needs to hear. And you don’t have to carry it alone.

    Topics I Cover:

    • What to do when your healing intersects with your calling
    • How to speak publicly about something you’re still walking through
    • Why you don’t need a polished delivery to have a powerful impact
    • What it sounds like to trust your audience to carry part of your story
    • The importance of rest after emotional breakthroughs
    • How to release shame, reset your posture, and reclaim your voice

    This week’s affirmation:

“I will do my best to let them carry it.”

  • 23 | You Don't Have to Earn Being Chosen - You Get to Choose (coaching session with Jai Robinson - part 1)
    2025/04/23

Have you ever looked back at a relationship and thought, “I didn’t even realize I was settling”? In this powerful coaching session, I sat down with my client, Jai Robinson, for what was supposed to be a conversation about preparing her next talk. But when I asked one simple question - “Have you ever settled?” - what came out was something much deeper. In this episode, you’ll hear the raw, unscripted conversation that followed as we unpacked self-worth, being chosen, childhood wounds, and the masks we wear to stay strong. I promise, this isn’t just her story. It might be yours, too.

Sometimes the biggest transformation doesn’t come from fixing something, it comes from finally seeing it clearly. You’re allowed to stop surviving. You’re allowed to choose yourself. And no, you’re not too much.

    Topics I Cover:

    • Why we sometimes struggle to tell ourselves the truth about where we really are
    • How our desire to feel “further along” can keep us stuck in patterns that no longer serve us
    • What childhood and teenage experiences can teach us about how we see ourselves today
    • Why being the “encourager” doesn’t always mean you believe the same encouragement for yourself
    • The power of naming your patterns - and how that opens the door to healing
    • The moment you stop waiting to be picked and start choosing yourself
    • Why emotional breakthroughs can feel like running a marathon (and that’s okay)

    This week’s affirmation:

“I I get to choose. I get to choose me. I get to choose to love myself.”
