Jeff tells the story of the murders at Corpsewood Manor in Chattooga County, Georgia. It’s the nearly unbelievable tale of two gay men who moved to rural Georgia in the late 1970s to live a quiet, solitary life. But their dream of peace and isolation tragically backfires.

Dr. Scudder and Joey Odom become the victims of their own haunting story — one steeped in murder, satanic symbols, government LSD, societal judgment, fear of the “other,” failed escapism, and the destructive consequences of greed and misunderstanding.

Sam shares a story about a desperately lonely teenage girl who unwittingly invites evil into her family’s home. This is the chilling tale of the Beckford Family Haunting — what they endured through the spring of 1974, and how America’s favorite demonologist duo, Ed & Lorraine Warren, helped defeat the demons.

For spooky October, Jeff tells the story of the Ed Gein, The Butcher of Plainfield. Gein is known for his gruesome crimes in the 1950s, which included the murder of two women and exhumation of corpses of local cemeteries.

Some of his disturbing practices include using human skin and body parts to create clothing and household items. Gein's crimes shocked and horrified the nation but they also inspired Norman Bates in the 1960 movie Psycho, Leatherface in Texas Chainsaw Massacre and Buffalo Bill in Silence of the Lambs. Find out why Ed Gein is a notorious figure in American true crime history.
