Don’t Fear The Feed takes the stories, viral clips, and headlines flooding your feeds and breaks them down—so you can see what actually matters and what doesn’t. Instead of fear, outrage, or noise, each episode digs into real-world news, current events, and cultural moments—looking at what’s actually beneath the surface: what’s real, what’s overhyped, and what’s just flat-out dumb when you look a little closer. No preaching. No panic. Just a little humor and clear, grounded commentary—so you can stop reacting and start thinking. Because once you understand it, it’s not nearly as scary… it just makes more sense.

  • Don't Fear Internet Dating: Love Found Online
    2026/09/11

If you've ever binged seasons of MTV's Catfish or sat with sweaty palms waiting for your Tinder date to show up at the bar, this episode of Don't Fear the Feed is for you.

Host Josh Abrams tackles the fearmongering headlines around internet dating and makes the case for looking at the actual evidence instead of the stigma. He and his wife Anna share their own internet dating success story — how they met through the Smule karaoke app, bonded over singing duets, and built a relationship that felt completely organic once they finally met face-to-face.

Josh also hits the streets for a series of thought-provoking discussions with strangers about their dating app experiences and dating success stories of their own. Cole explains how apps like Tinder serve everyone from relationship-seekers to hookup culture, and shares a friend's jaw-dropping story about a date who turned out to be a trans woman. Dan makes the case that dating apps have changed — and maybe diminished — the traditional way people build a relationship. And Josh's friend JC opens up about his own catfishing experience navigating internet dating after his 2019 divorce.

Whether you're currently swiping or just curious, this episode breaks down what makes online dating safe (or risky), why asking direct questions matters, and why honesty in your profile is non-negotiable for real dating success and a lasting relationship.

  • Don't Fear AI
    2026/08/28

Should you fear AI? Are Robots taking over the world? Why are we talking about giraffes?

Welcome to Don’t Fear the Feed, the comedy news podcast and news commentary show that drags viral topics and viral moments through the mud. On today’s episode, Josh starts off with the story of two 12-foot, 900-pound giraffe calves that mysteriously go missing from Virginia’s Natural Bridge Zoo for over a year, later to be found via an Attorney General investigation amid animal-cruelty charges and rising local violent crime. What?

From there, the society and culture podcast pivots to whether AI is “taking over,” hitting self-checkouts, cashier-less stores, driverless rides, deepfakes, and Tom Hanks’ fears about AI recreating voices—plus a street-interview split between “fear the feed” and “don’t.” Josh argues that AI is everywhere and replacing some jobs, but won’t make humans obsolete because it still needs human oversight, while warning the real threat isn’t robots—it’s who controls them.

This episode is a lot of fun, so don’t miss it!
