In this powerful sermon, “Don’t Look Away from Jesus,” Pastor Isaac Hayes of Upper Room Fellowship Church takes us through Matthew 14:22–33 and the account of Jesus walking on the water and Peter stepping out of the boat in faith. Through the storm, Peter’s sinking, and Jesus reaching down to save him, we are reminded that life will bring storms, trials, and circumstances that can cause us to take our eyes off Christ. But when we keep our focus on Jesus, trust His timing, and cry out to Him when we begin to sink, He is faithful to reach down and lift us back up. This message challenges us to pray, trust God through the storm, keep our eyes on Jesus, and remember to worship and testify about what He has brought us through. At Upper Room Fellowship Church, our focus is Christ and Him Crucified. We are a fellowship of believers dedicated to lifting up the name of Jesus and proclaiming the finished work of the Cross. Our mission is to equip the Body of Christ with the spiritual tools and biblical foundation needed to reach the lost and share the Good News of salvation. We believe that true transformation comes through the power of the Holy Spirit and the message of the Cross. Through worship, teaching, and outreach, we seek to strengthen the faith of believers and empower them to boldly witness to the world around them.Whether you are searching for a home church or simply seeking to grow deeper in your walk with Christ, we welcome you to join us at Upper Room Fellowship Church — where hearts are ignited, lives are changed, and Christ is exalted.
