  • S3, E6: Let's Talk About Money!
    2026/06/09

Why is money such a shameful topic for so many people? And why do we feel like if we're not making enough money, that we are not as successful as those who are? Do you equate success with what's in your bank account? Do you even look at your money? What you're spending? What you're saving?

Money is a topic I have a really hard time talking about. I've made a lot of mistakes over the years when it comes to my finances. Some hard truths I've had to face despite being terrified.

Let's dive in! Would love to hear your thoughts.

  • S3, E4: The Fear of Getting it Wrong. What if I Fail?
    2026/05/06

A common theme I see within myself & a constant conversation I have with others is about the fear of getting it wrong. This is one of the biggest reasons why we hide or put things on pause. What if we show up, but we get it wrong? What if I embarrass myself? What if people hate what I'm putting out into the world??

This weekend I hosted a retreat, and that theme came up quite a bit. With my participants AND me. In this episode, I share about my retreat experience and some things that came up for me leading up to the weekend, during, and after.

I've def allowed the opinions of others to dictate how I show up in my life. I've played small so many times in order to make others feel better while suffering on the inside.

  • S2 E8: Authentic, Inspiring, Heartwarming - Interview with Maid to Sparkle owner Kayleigh Oakley
    2024/12/04

What a joy it was to chat with Kayleigh, owner of local cleaning company Maid to Sparkle. Her honesty & ability to be so real & authentic - you can't help but fall in love with her.

She shares how it felt to get on the Shift Stage, how she went from being the most outgoing child to suddenly the most quiet & insecure.

Creating her own business from the branding to actually running it essentially on her own (with the support of family & her loving husband who is her biggest cheerleader). Her story is so inspiring & RELATABLE!

Kayleigh also has a wonderful initiative she has created - The 7th annual MARGARET’S SANTA TO A SENIOR EVENT!!

This is to help seniors living in our community who are low-income and might otherwise be alone at Christmas. To allow them to wake up Christmas morning with a smile on their face, presents under their tree, and more importantly — a feeling of love and connection. This year she is teaming up with Connections for Seniors & SeniorsNL where they will donate care packages that will include both essentials and prizes, spreading joy and magic to their seniors in need. As always, they will be looking for help from the community of PHYSICAL donations from the list below.

-OR- they also accept MONETARY donations from individuals and businesses that can be forwarded to kayleigh@sparklingday.ca (Please be sure to put STS in the note section) THE DEADLINE IS DECEMBER 13th!

Our number of seniors has already almost reached 80 this year. Please message us for drop off locations!

You can find Kayleigh on Facebook or Instagram:

  • S2 E7: You're never too old to start over! A special episode with my Dad
    2024/11/28

In this episode, I'm grateful to interview my father, Dave Coultas, who has reinvented himself more than once. At age 66, my dad continues to push the boundaries and comfort zones in his life. He recently embarked on a move to Paraguay, where he has had to learn a new language, make new friends, and adjust to this new way of living while navigating his relationships back home. He thrives on taking care of himself. A yogi, a gym rat, a cold shower advocate - we can learn a lot from him & his passion to keep moving.

My dad inspires me every day to push myself and live a life of authenticity. Even though hard at times, I do believe that these decisions have made our relationship stronger.

I hope this episode inspires those that may feel a little stuck or like it's too late to start something new.
