One episode might examine a Supreme Court decision or the public policy behind tomorrow's headlines. We aren't interested in subjects simply because they're popular. We're interested in the people, ideas, stories, and entertainment that shape culture, reveal culture, or become part of culture.

We don't do slogans. We don't do groupthink. We ask questions, challenge assumptions, follow evidence wherever it leads, and call nonsense by its proper name. We have little patience for clichés, scripted talking points, intellectual fashion, or arguments that collapse under the weight of evidence. Expect sharp humor, genuine disagreement, surprising connections, and conversations that move effortlessly from the profound to the absurd. We'll gladly change our minds when the facts demand it, but we won't pretend weak arguments are strong ones simply because they're fashionable.
