We discuss the programming around "suffering"
Moving toward healthy relationships usually starts less with finding the right person and more with becoming clear about what you need, what you will and won’t accept, and how you want to show up yourself.
A boundary isn't controlling someone else's behavior. It's knowing what you'll do when something doesn't work for you. For example: “If someone repeatedly disrespects me, I'll step away rather than trying harder to earn their respect.”
Ask yourself: Do their actions match their words? Do I feel respected? Can we disagree without punishment? Can I be vulnerable without it being used against me? Do they take responsibility when they hurt me?
Sometimes the hardest part isn't recognizing that something is unhealthy; it's accepting that leaving may hurt even when leaving is right.
And perhaps most importantly: healthy relationships aren't relationships where nobody gets hurt or makes mistakes. They're relationships where both people can repair, communicate, take responsibility, and respect each other's humanity.
We really hope this gives you some new perspectives x
