Erica takes the mic for the first time, and the episode goes completely off the rails. Planning a trip to Japan next year, she brings us two of its most famous vengeful spirits.
First up is Teke Teke, a woman cut in half by a train who now drags herself along on her hands at 93 miles per hour. If she catches you, she asks one question: do you need your legs? It was supposed to be terrifying. We did not make it through with a straight face.
Then it’s the Ghost of Oiwa, one of Japan’s big three ghost stories. A samurai’s betrayal, a poisoned face cream, and a wedding night that goes very, very wrong. Plus a creepy encounter in our own studio and the girl who hides in the gaps.
Trigger warning: these old legends include assault, suicide, and gore.
New episodes drop every Wednesday in October. Stay spooky.
