    Henrique and David revisit Air Bud (1997), the 1990s Disney family sports comedy set in Fernfield, Washington. Kevin Zegers plays Josh Framm, a grieving new kid who struggles to fit in after moving with his mother and sister. At an overgrown basketball court, he befriends a stray golden retriever, names him Buddy and discovers the dog can sink baskets. Their bond gives Josh the confidence to leave the bench, join the Timberwolves and face the question that made the movie famous: is there actually a rule against a dog playing basketball?
    Directed by Charles Martin Smith, the film pairs Buddy’s athletic spectacle with a story about loss, abuse and belonging. Director Stephen Norrington and screenwriter David S. Goyer turn a comic-book adaptation into a martial-arts-heavy horror thriller, and the hosts place its success between the fallout from Batman & Robin and the superhero boom that followed.
    The story begins with Blade’s birth after his pregnant mother is attacked, then follows hematologist Karen Jenson (N’Bushe Wright) after Quinn bites her in a hospital morgue. Blade and his mentor-armorer Whistler (Kris Kristofferson) race to stop Karen’s transformation while tracking Deacon Frost (Stephen Dorff), an ambitious turned vampire seeking the power of the blood god La Magra.
