Across the globe, a disturbing network of predators has been uncovered using TikTok to target children, exploiting viral trends and the platform's monetization tools to groom and abuse minors. From a former youth pastor who posed as a teenager to a 20-year-old who targeted girls on Roblox and TikTok, these cases reveal a chilling pattern: the app is being used as a gateway to encrypted platforms where exploitation continues.

In this episode, we investigate the disturbing reality of TikTok predators. An investigation by the Maldita.es Foundation analyzed over 20,000 comments and found evidence of over 1,300 suspected predators in just 50 videos [citation:1]. In the UK, 20-year-old Tarek Miah was sentenced to 15 years for grooming and raping girls as young as nine after contacting them on TikTok and Snapchat [citation:2].
