🎙️ Episode 7 full- Of All the Bars in All the World

De tous les bars du monde, c'est dans celui-ci que Matt Black entre.

Meet Matt Black: private investigator, master of misadventure, and possibly the least qualified detective ever to walk into a bar.

In this episode of Motel Disco Mbob, sleepless nights, a mysterious woman, and an unhealthy imagination collide in a gloriously absurd noir adventure. Armed with a dodgy charity tin, a borrowed notebook, and the confidence of a man who has absolutely no idea what he's doing, Matt sets out to solve a mystery. What could possibly go wrong?

Expect hard-boiled detective clichés, questionable schemes, tales of drunken escapades, spectacularly petty revenge, and a cast of unforgettable characters, all delivered with a distinctly Scottish edge and a healthy disregard for convention.

But behind the wisecracks and discombobulation lies something more human: a mind wrestling with memory, identity, and a changing sense of self, finding purpose through the alter ego of a fictional gumshoe.

Will Matt crack the case, or will the mysterious Finton Fennessay turn the tables on our hapless hero?

Pour yourself a metaphorical drink, step into the shadows, and prepare for a tale where the line between genius and utter nonsense is delightfully blurred.

Motel Disco Mbob — where memories wander, candles burn brightly, and discombobulation is all part of the show.

Episode 6 – Memories of Home

What do you do when the present becomes too difficult to escape?

You go somewhere else.

For Guy Strange, the mind motel has plenty of rooms.

A rubber glove becomes a monstrous hand on a dark country road. A forgotten caravan beside the sea becomes a doorway to childhood. Basking sharks glide through the Clyde. Fighter jets roar overhead. Nuclear submarines disappear beneath the water. Then, years later, Soviet fishing ships arrive, bringing Russian sailors, strange trades and an encounter that might have been an adventure worth taking.

But beneath the humour and memories lies something darker.

Pain. Fatigue. Sleepless nights. Progressive deterioration. The frustration of a body that won't cooperate and a future that offers more questions than answers.

When the present becomes unbearable, Guy returns to the places where he once felt safe — sitting outside a caravan in the summer sun, smelling seaweed on the beach and listening to aircraft overhead.

Happy memories become a form of escape.

But some memories refuse to stay in the past.

And one mysterious woman in a bar continues to occupy a room in Guy Strange's mind.
