What does it mean when a dental practice sends your case to an outside lab?
It means your surgeon plans and places the implants, but a separate lab designs and makes your teeth, often in a different building or company. This split creates handoffs where no single provider is fully accountable for your final result.

How can you tell if a full arch practice handles everything in house?
Ask directly whether the same team designs, mills, and adjusts your teeth on site, or whether any part goes to an outside lab or provider. A clear in house answer means one team owns your case from consultation through your final result and all follow up.

Why do full arch implant patients get stuck in temporary teeth for months?
Delays usually happen when the final teeth are made off site and need to be shipped back and forth for bite adjustments or remakes. In an in house model, those same adjustments can often happen the same day, in the same building.
