What does self-care actually look like?

For the longest time, I rolled my eyes a little at the traditional idea of "self-care." Face masks, massages, fancy lotions, bubble baths...none of that felt like what I needed when I needed to take care of myself. Then I had a conversation that changed my entire perspective: MY version of self-care doesn't have to be YOUR version of self-care.

In this episode, I'm sharing that little mindset shift AND looking at self-care through the lens of a professional organizer. Because sometimes we aren't actually practicing self-care...we're just hanging out in the self-care adjacent space. That being said, the goal isn't to do self-care the "right" way. It's to know yourself well enough to recognize what you need, and give yourself permission to let go of the things that don't actually serve you. And if you need a framework for figuring that out...I'm sharing a super simple one to help you do just that.
