The Packers took care of business against the Bears at Lambeau but Seamus is withholding his final judgements for another two weeks. For now, he's pleased with the way the Packers played, especially offensively, but he knows the job's not finished. John doesn't have much to say since the Giants were idle last week but he looks ahead (not forward) for their upcoming game against Washington. After a shortened Giants segment, John is chomping at the bit to bring up the less exciting part of Seamus' Sunday, which was the Notre Dame Fighting Irish being removed from the CFP bracket. The Duo debate Notre Dame's exclusion, and the college football playoff selection process overall, in an animated segment you won't want to miss.

The Packers and Giants bookend the football filled Thanksgiving weekend. Seamus' Thanksgiving couldn't have been better as his Packer get a huge divisional win against the Lions to start. The Giants however, struggle on Primetime against the AFC leading Patriots. John reacts to the narratives surrounding the team and Joe Schoen's bye week presser. Seamus looks ahead to another key matchup against Chicago.

Another week, another double digit 4th quarter lead blown by the New York Football Giants. John is disappointed but not surprised. The one silver lining is that the defense might have a new look going forward under new leadership following the dismissal of DC Shane Bowen. Meanwhile Seamus takes a breath of fresh air as the Packers dominate the Vikings from whistle to whistle, in all three phases of the game, a phenomenon not seen in a while. But there is no rest for the weary as Green Bay is on to another huge divisional matchup with the Lions on Thanksgiving. The Duo also look forward to the remainder of the enticing Thanksgiving day slate and its impact on the playoff picture following week 13.

The Decleated Duo recap on their Sunday leading up to and including the Packers 27-20 win against the Giants. Seamus is happy to have discovered possibly the best thing to come to breakfast since the fried egg... the bratwurst, egg and cheese! He was also quite happy that the Packers had the get-back game they so needed. Meanwhile, John was disappointed but not surprised about the outcome of the first game in the Kafka-led Giants era.

Ding, Dong, the deed has been done! Brian Daboll has been fired by the New York Giants. It's a bitter sweet day for John, because while he's pleased with the organization's decision, the move also signals the official end of yet another unsuccessful coaching regime in the post-Coughlin era. Meanwhile, Seamus weighs in on the conversation pertaining to the temperature of Matt LaFleur's seat following the Packers lackluster offensive performance against the Eagles. The Decleated Duo then shift their focus to the excitement that lies ahead with the Packers vs. Giants game this coming Sunday. Oh yeah, and the tailgate that comes with it.

While Seamus is obviously unhappy that the Packers dropped yet another disappointing game against the Panthers this weekend, he's not entirely disheartened. This is the NFL after all, and you're (likely) not going to win every week. More importantly, he thinks it's all about the way they respond, both against the Eagles next week on MNF and in the absence of Tucker Kraft who is out for the season. Meanwhile, 2-7 is hitting like novocaine for John who is all too used to this feeling at the midpoint of year 4 under Brian Daboll. Is it time to move on? Can the Giants show some signs of life the rest of the way? We'll have to wait and see.

Seamus and John share their viewing experience of the Packers primetime win against the Steelers. Jordan Love and Tucker Kraft get the offense revived in their icy whites. John continues to ride the roller coaster of emotions that this Giants season has been and has to mourn the loss of the electric Cam Skattebo in the 2025 season.

Meanwhile, John straps back in for a big drop on the Denver portion of the Giants rollercoaster. However the parallels between the Packers and Giants woes, with the exception of the outcome of each game, might push John over the edge.
