More on the episode below:

Chris always wanted to be somebody. And for years he was a variety of "somebodies" from British gentleman to Hollywood producer to Rockefeller heir. For years, he fooled nearly everyone, including his wife. But when a pile of old bones are discovered on a construction site, those remains would reveal who - and what - he really was: a ruthless conman and a violent killer.

How could someone be so many terrible things and yet no one suspected anything?

Find out in this October 2026 bonus episode, drawn in part from Mark Seal's extraordinary true crime book (and Vanity Fair article) "The Man in the Rockefeller Suit."

A notorious party crasher shocks New York society when she suddenly claims she's the descendent of a legendary jewelry family. The plot thickens when she turns up with her new "old money" boyfriend: a man who swears he's a long lost Rockefeller. But who were they really? And what happens when a grifter goes from ludicrous to dangerous?
