Our team brings you to the front lines as hundreds unite for a 14-day, 207-mile trek from New York State's capitol to the country's largest beagle-breeding facility, Marshall BioResources in North Rose, New York. Americans of all backgrounds have come together to say: enough with cruel, irrelevant and unreliable animal experimentation.

On this first stop, Schenectady, activists gathered to rest up, eat dinner and hear from NY State Senator Jim Tedisco and Victoria Moran of Main Street Vegan Academy. We also talk to a young man facing 31 years in prison for his part in the rescue of beagles this past spring from the Ridglan Farm beagle breeding facility in Wisconsin. That rescue saga, which resulted in the release of all 1,500 beagles and the closure of Ridglan, led to this campaign to close an even bigger facility in New York.
