Welcome to a quiet corner of the world where creativity, books, and the art of everyday life come together. This podcast is my space to share the things that move me — my writing, my books, the creative process, and the way art and culture shape how we live.

Each episode is a slow, thoughtful conversation about storytelling, imagination, and the deeper themes behind my work as an independent author. I talk about the books I’m creating, the ideas I’m exploring, and the cultural influences that inspire my writing. You’ll hear reflections on creativity, personal growth, the pace of modern life, and the small moments that spark meaning and beauty.

Sometimes I talk about the stories I’m building — from techno-thrillers like Tokyo Code and Terminate by Default to the playful middle‑grade adventures of Scrappy and Curious Evan. Other times, I explore the ideas behind my nonfiction work, including the Life Beyond Series, where I write about perception, nature’s intelligence, presence, meaning, the future, and the accelerating pace of modern life.

You’ll hear reflections on books like The Gameboard of Life, The Heart’s Soul, The World We Are Building, and The Time Illusion — each one exploring a different facet of reality and the illusions we live inside. I share the inspirations behind these projects, the questions that led me to write them, and the quiet moments that shaped their themes.

This podcast blends arts, books, society, and culture in a down‑to‑earth way. It’s a cozy space to sit with stories, insights, and the everyday experiences that shape our imagination. Whether you love creative conversations, author life, reflective storytelling, or simply the calm of a slower pace, you’ll find something here to settle into.

If you’re drawn to thoughtful discussions about writing, creativity, art, culture, and the world around us, I’m glad you’re here. Take a breath, get comfortable, and join me as we explore life through a softer, more imaginative lens.

  • A Pause for Freedom
    2026/10/15

Got something to say to this podcast? Send a voicemail, and you might hear yourself on the next episode!

As we approach this election season, I'd like to take a brief pause to reflect on something bigger than politics.

The right to vote is a precious freedom. It gives each of us a voice in shaping the future of our communities, our states, and our nation.

No matter where we come from or what views we hold, there are things that many of us value deeply: strong families, safe neighborhoods, good schools, respect for one another, and opportunities for future generations to thrive.

A healthy society is built on responsibility, kindness, and participation. It is built when neighbors help neighbors, when communities come together in difficult times, and when citizens stay engaged in the issues that affect everyday life.

We all benefit when laws are respected, when public safety is protected, and when those who are vulnerable receive the care and support they need. We benefit when people treat one another with dignity, even when they disagree.

Freedom is not only a privilege. It is a responsibility. It calls us to be informed, thoughtful, and willing to take part in the civic process.

So wherever you stand on the issues, take time to learn, reflect, and make your voice heard. Vote with your values, vote with your conscience, and vote with hope for the future.

May we continue to cherish freedom, pursue peace, strengthen our communities, and work toward a nation where respect, courage, responsibility, and compassion guide the way forward.

Thank you for taking this pause for freedom with me.
