 Our greatest desire at Gordon Avenue Baptist Church and Danny V. Ray Ministries is to point whosoever to the Lord Jesus Christ, who is the LIGHT in this dark world. He loves you with everlasting, unconditional love. We do this by preaching the Word of God and our daily devotions, Coffee and Conversation, and Encouragement For Today. Danny V. Ray Ministries, I have a Diploma Of Christian Ministry From The Georgia Baptist Bible Institute, a Bachelor of Ministry Degree from Andersonville Theological Seminary, a Master of Divinity Degree, and Doctor’s Degrees in Ministry, Christian Education, and Pastoral Counseling from Andersonville Theological Seminary. I served as a Hospice Chaplain for ten years with Hospice of Tift Area and Bethany Hospice in Douglas, Georgia. I have pastored churches in my 36 years of pastoring in South and Middle Georgia. My ministry has been that of rebuilding the Lord’s churches, sometimes His buildings, sometimes His people, and sometimes both at the same time. My objective in pastoring is always to bring people to the Lord and then help them become all God wanted them to be; all this comes through His Church. I am Southern Baptist in doctrine, my grandfather was a Southern Baptist pastor, and my oldest son is also an ordained Southern Baptist Minister. As a Southern Baptist, I believe that every word of the Bible is God-inspired, that he is God’s promised Messiah, the Christ. That salvation is through Him alone with the Holy Spirit bringing man and Christ together and then indwelling all who believe.
