Episode 7: Learning to Be Content in a Full House | Finding Joy in What God Has Given Me
It’s easy to focus on what we don’t have, what needs to change, or what we wish life looked like. But sometimes, in the middle of our busy everyday lives, we forget to notice the blessings God has already given us. ❤️
In this episode of Daily Provisions, I’m talking about learning to be content in a full house, finding joy in the ordinary moments, and being thankful even when life isn’t perfect.
From grocery budgets and endless laundry to homeschooling and raising six children, I’m learning that contentment doesn’t mean everything has to be easy or that we can’t have goals. It means appreciating what God has provided right where we are.
“For I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content.” — Philippians 4:11 (KJV)
Join me as we talk about gratitude, comparison, and recognizing God’s daily provisions in the life we’re living today.
Because sometimes the greatest blessings are the ones already sitting right in front of us. ❤️

  • 🎙️ Episode 6: When Homeschool Doesn’t Look Like School | Learning in Everyday Life
    2026/10/08
    Homeschooling doesn’t always look like school—and I’m learning that’s okay. ❤️
In this episode of Daily Provisions, I’m sharing what it looks like to homeschool my 12-year-old and 5-year-old, two children who are at completely different stages of learning.
We’ll talk about learning beyond worksheets and textbooks, letting each child learn in ways that work for them, building character alongside academics, and recognizing the everyday moments when our children are learning without us even calling it “school.”
Most importantly, I’m reminded that teaching our children about God isn’t limited to a Bible lesson. Faith can be woven into our conversations, our struggles, our mistakes, our responsibilities, and our everyday family life.
“And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children…” — Deuteronomy 6:7
Homeschool may not always look perfect or traditional, but there is so much learning happening in the ordinary moments. ❤️

  • 🎙️ Episode 5: When You Don’t Know What’s Next | Trusting God One Day at a Time
    2026/09/29
What do you do when you don’t know what comes next?
In this episode of Daily Provisions, I’m talking about trusting God in the seasons when there are unanswered questions about finances, work, family, school, or simply what the future might hold.
And if you know me, you know I’m not much of a planner. 😂 A lot of the time, I’m hodge-podging things together as I go—including dinner!
But I’m learning there’s a difference between taking care of what’s in front of me today and carrying tomorrow’s worries before tomorrow even gets here.
God’s provision isn’t always something big or dramatic. Sometimes it’s food already in the freezer, wisdom for one decision, strength for a tiring day, an unexpected encouragement, or peace while we’re still waiting for an answer.
“Give us this day our daily bread.” — Matthew 6:11
We may not know what tomorrow holds, but we can trust God with today’s family, today’s responsibilities, today’s blessings, today’s bread, and today’s grace. ❤️

  • 🎙️ Episode 4: When the Day Doesn’t Go as Planned | Finding God in the Interruptions
    2026/09/22
Some days just don’t go according to plan—especially in a full house. ❤️
In this episode of Daily Provisions, I’m talking about homeschool interruptions, unfinished to-do lists, changed dinner plans, laundry that’s still waiting, and those days when you wonder what you actually accomplished.
I’m learning that a successful day isn’t always measured by how many boxes I checked. Sometimes the interruptions are where God is asking me to slow down and pay attention.
We’ll talk about giving ourselves grace when plans change, recognizing the blessings hidden inside the busyness, and trusting that God provides what we need for the day we’re actually living—not just the day we planned.
“A man’s heart deviseth his way: but the Lord directeth his steps.” — Proverbs 16:9
One day. One interruption. One daily provision at a time. ❤️

  • Homeschooling Two Different Ages | Faithfulness Over Perfection
    2026/09/15
Homeschooling a 12-year-old and a 5-year-old means our days don’t always look neat, quiet, or perfectly planned—and that’s okay. ❤️
In Episode 3 of Daily Provisions, I’m sharing what homeschooling two very different ages looks like in our family of eight, while also juggling Christian school schedules, a little one, homemaking, and everyday life.
We’ll talk about meeting our children where they are, letting go of comparison, teaching more than academics, and remembering that a difficult homeschool day doesn’t mean we’re failing.
Most of all, I’m learning to choose faithfulness over perfection and trust God for the patience, wisdom, strength, and grace needed for each day.
And a little warning: allergies have my voice sounding a bit under the weather in this episode, and you may hear some little-one noises in the background. That’s life in a full house! 😊
One lesson at a time. One child at a time. One day at a time. ❤️

Feeding a family of eight takes a lot of food—and a lot of planning! 🛒
