Curt Cignetti delivered an encouraging update on Josh Hoover's health ahead of Indiana Football's matchup against Minnesota. After Hoover struggled while dealing with an injury against Michigan, Cignetti said he expects the Hoosiers' quarterback to be better this week.

In today's Locked On Hoosiers HIT, Jacob Goins reacts to Cignetti's latest comments and explains what an improving Josh Hoover could mean for Indiana's offense during the second half of the 2026 college football season.

Indiana considered making a quarterback change against Michigan, but Hoover remained in the game and delivered important plays during the Hoosiers' overtime victory. Now, with Minnesota approaching and a bye week on the horizon, can Hoover regain his rhythm and help Indiana's offense improve?

Jacob discusses Hoover's health, his performance against Michigan, the impact of Fernando Mendoza's departure, and why a healthier quarterback could help Indiana's running game and receiving corps.
