The Water We Didn't Choose

Jordan Frank joined me from a snowy Sequoia National Park living in his van, 36 years old, in the middle of one of the most honest chapters of his life.

Culture is everywhere and almost nowhere at once.

It shapes what we say, what we tolerate, what we perform, what we grieve, and what we never question. It was handed to us before we had language for it, by our families, our workplaces, our communities, the water we've been swimming in our whole lives.

And yet almost nobody sits down and asks: is this actually mine?

That's what this season explores.

What culture actually is. What it takes to build one on purpose. And what it costs to live inside one that was never fully yours, or that you never fully chose.

No experts. No frameworks. Just honest wandering with people who've felt all of this from the inside.

These conversations won't give you answers.

They might give you better questions.
