The wind will come. The question is whether it will determine where you go. Faith isn’t the absence of fear, it’s choosing to trust what God has said when everything around you gives you a reason to doubt. Peter had a choice to keep his eyes on Jesus or sink beneath the waves. James warns that doubt leaves us tossed by the wind. Jehoshaphat faced an impossible battle and chose to seek God, stand on His promise, and move forward in faith.

Storms are inevitable, but we get to choose what we’re anchored to. Hold to His promises or sink beneath your circumstances. Move in faith or be tossed by the wind. When the wind blows, don’t let it change what you believe about God. Fix your eyes on Jesus, stand on His Word, and keep moving in faith.

When the weight comes from what we refuse to let go.

Lead Pastor Wade Woods let us through unforgiveness, our last sermon in the heavy series. When we've been hurt, it's easy to hold onto the offense, blame the person who hurt us, or even blame God, and convince ourselves that letting go somehow lets them off the hook. But holding onto a grudge doesn't punish our offender; it keeps us bound to what they did.

Jesus calls us to something different: forgiveness from the heart. Not overlooking the hurt. Not pretending it didn't matter. But choosing to release it into His hands instead of allowing bitterness, anger, and resentment to take root in ours.

The question is: Will we live for our grudge, or will we live for Jesus?

One day, He will make everything right. Until then, we're called to walk the narrow road, live by the Spirit, and trust Him with the people and pain we cannot fix.

Forgiveness isn't saying it didn't hurt. It's deciding you won't carry it anymore.

Grief comes in many forms, the death of someone we love, the loss of a relationship, a marriage, a job, a dream, a season, or simply the life we thought we would have. And when loss comes, we can find ourselves asking, “God, where are You? Why did this happen? How am I supposed to keep going?”

Scripture doesn't tell us to ignore those feelings or pretend they aren't there. Instead, it introduces us to a Savior who grieves with us. In John 11, Jesus knew resurrection was coming, yet when He saw Mary weeping, He was deeply moved and Jesus wept. He knew the miracle was coming, but He still stopped long enough to enter their grief.

There is a time to sit in our sorrow, but we were never meant to live there forever. Eventually, we have to decide: Will I allow His presence into this place? Will I recognize that He is here?

Because the cloud of darkness cannot consume us forever. God is close to the brokenhearted. He heals the brokenhearted. He bears our burdens daily. He gives us a peace the world cannot give. And sometimes, in the moments when we understand the least, He reveals Himself the most.

Grief may change us. Loss may leave a space that will always matter. But we don't have to understand everything that happened to know the One who is sitting with us in it.

He sees you. He cares deeply about you. He is here. And His presence is enough.

Battles. Training. Waiting.

A soldier, an athlete, and a farmer all have one thing in common, they don't quit when things get hard. Pastor Wade uses these three examples to challenge every believer to remain faithful through hardship, trusting that God is producing something eternal. We are learning what it means to endure with purpose and leave a legacy that lasts.

When Paul called us to suffer… it’s nothing compared to what Jesus did for YOU. “If we endure, we will also reign with Him. If we disown Him, He will also disown us; if we are faithless, He remains faithful, for He cannot disown himself. Keep reminding God’s people of these things. Warn them before God against quarreling about words; it is of no value, and only ruins those who listen.
