  • 74. Mediumship, Divination, & Trusting Your Channel with Kristen Lightwork
    2025/07/10

On this episode, we have another amazing guest, Kristen Lightwork! Kristen is a professional spiritual medium and tarot reader. Growing up us a military brat, she discovered that it wasn't just the houses that were haunted along the journey. She has always had a deep connection with the spiritual realm and paranormal ever since she was a little girl. Those experiences led Kristen to use her intuitive discernment and channel to bring forth messages from the other side.

She uses her gifts to help others find spiritual alignment in their lives and bridge the gap of belief in the spiritual world. Her readings involve the use of divination through tarot and channeling with your Spirit Guides to bring forth the messages that need to come through for the highest best purposes of those she connects with. Her passion is showing how to work with the tools we are given, alongside the spiritual realm, to discover the true alignment we are here to accomplish!

    Key Takeaways:

    • What does it mean to be a medium?
    • Let mediumship be an experiment
    • The more you acknowledge and take action on what you see, hear, and feel from intuition + spirit, the stronger your channel becomes

  • 72. Rejecting Parts of Self is Rejecting Your Medicine
    2025/05/29

Rejecting parts of self... we all do it. This is a protective mechanism that we automatically do in order to survive in the environments we grow up in. If a personality trait of the self is deemed unworthy or unlovable by our caregivers or society, we start to reject (suppress) those parts of self. We do this in order to receive love an belonging, which are basic needs as humans in order to survive. It can become a sacrifice to get those needs met which then comes with consequences. When we start to consistently reject parts of self, we are also rejecting aspects of our light, our power, our medicine. Tune in to today's episode to dive deeper!

    Key Takeaways:

    • What is the shadow aspect of self?
    • What is the positive intent of the shadow?
    • How the shadow starts to rule the present moment
    • Suppressing the shadow also suppresses its gift, the medicine that we hold
    • Rejecting parts of self just intensifies the darkness within
    • Accept that you're human, you're going to mess up, but you also get to keep learning from your mistakes

  • 71. Remember Who You Are
    2025/04/17

Remember who you are... what a concept, right? I had a healer tell me this over a year ago, to which my ego quickly responded to that statement with, "Pretty sure I remember who the fuck I am, but thank you." LOL... On this episode, I share how that statement now makes sense, and that I did in fact forget who I was. Because 2022 was a massive year of spiritual lessons where I stepped off the path of alignment in various ways, one of the ways being that I took down my story on the podcast, and these last couple years I've been coming back into alignment. (interesting that it took twice as long to get back on the path but I guess that's karma for ya) It's been through revisiting the path back home to myself in this way, that I am remembering all over again.

    Key Takeaways:

    • We can never truly know who we are if we do not have a relationship with our darkness
    • Our shadows (that we cannot get rid of) are equally us
    • It's within the shadows our true essence and power lies
    • Our wholeness never left

On this guest episode, I am pleased to welcome, Bri Deemer!! Bri is on a mission of opening up heart chakras through somatic experiences. She is a retreat leader and somatic coach based out of Hawaii with 18 years of body work and reiki behind her (which is nothing short of powerful, calm, and clear). Bri has gone through a lot of change, grief, and triumphs in her 37 years of life, which has allowed her to have a depth many don't experience until their 50s. Her presence and embodiment is regularly put to practice through being a mother, free diver, and avid somatic experience seeker. Bri loves bringing this depth to you through her work, and she invites you to experience a transformation of stepping into your shameless power while having fun!

    Key Takeaways:

    • So much of healing is within the integration process
    • Grief is meant to be shared
    • Duality of grief and love
    • Stop trying to fix the moment by wanting to make people "feel better" when they're grieving, just let them grieve
    • The importance of respecting people's threshold of discomfort
    • When people are the abuser or the victim, both are having an internal war over self-worth
    • People can become abusers when they aren't given the tools to process trauma
    • Grief must be felt to break cycles

  • 69. Maintaining Liberation After Leaving Trauma Bonds
    2025/04/03

My Story pt6. Just because we leave a traumatic relationship, situation, or toxic cycle doesn't mean we then have the capacity to remain free from it. On this episode, I share what my life was like after I had left the trauma bonded relationship (the first time). That by leaving, it then created the space for my supressed pain to finally be felt so I could get free from internal suffering... but, I didn't actually have the capacity to be with that discomfort and feel it. This was the period of my life where I was in full swing of operating off my shadows. Doing anything I could to distract myself from my pain, and as a result, it lead me right back to what I had left.

    Key Takeaways:

    • Gaining a relationship with your darkness, your internal world, is a direct link to you being able to maintain freedom from internal suffering.
    • People show you who they are early, and you need to believe them.
    • When your story is messy, let it be what it is. Let it be messy.
    • If you're unable to be with discomfort, the likelihood of you choosing dynamics that perpetuates past trauma is very high.
    • How you show up in daily life is a mirror to how you relate to your darkness.
    • Distraction, escapism, avoiding, and numbing are protective mechanisms from feeling emotional pain.
    • Your shadows are not innately bad.

  • 68. Reconnecting To My Darkness
    2025/03/27

On this episode, I discuss how I have been reconnecting to my darkness. That by re-sharing my story on the podcast it has re-surfaced shadow aspects of self that I didn't realized I had abandoned. They are being seen again and it's been challenging. Trust has been broken, fear is present, vulnerability is at the forefront, and my shadows have a lot to say. Deciding to no longer hide is no fucking joke. Even though this has been challenging, it has also been liberating. I am remembering at a deeper level (as the spiral goes) that my wisdom lies within my darkness. That is where the medicine resides, and as the relationship with my darkness strengthens again, so does the relationship with my liberation.

    Key Takeaways:

    • There is nothing wrong with you
    • True love and light is here as a result of the embodiment of your darkness
    • Being in tune with your shadow is being in tune with your authenticity
    • How you do one thing is how you do everything
    • If you shove down and reject your darkness, it will come up and affect how you live your daily life
    • When you're in relationship with your darkness, as a byproduct, you're also in relationship with liberation
