The Makapansgat pebble is a stone found in 1925 in a cave in South Africa. It resembles a human face, although it is said not to have been carved and to have been formed naturally. It was found in a cave known to be occupied by Australopithecus around 3 million years ago. Is it early art, or did Glug just think it looked cool?
