We are in relationship with God. we are also entrusted with the Gospel of God. these two are connected and the Gospel we proclaim impacts the kind of relationship we have with God.

We take a look at the second letter written to Timothy. What does it mean to rekindle? How do we progress in the face of suffering?

We discuss the fight all Christians are called to fight; to hold fast to the confession of our faith. We do not belong to any kingdom of this world.

Prayer is a main component of how we relate to others, especially our enemies. we cannot hate those whom we pray for every day.

We look at the beginning of Paul's letters to Timothy. The focus is not on other, not our self, but on Jesus. How we are sinners and Jesus gave his upmost grace, love, and mercy for us.

We are outside today for a special service. After talking about faith for a couple of weeks, it is beneficial that we consider what it looks like to actually live out this faith. So we turn to Philemon to see the difference it makes to be in Christ.

We wrap up Hebrews today with a challenge to live out our faith but there is a contradiction in what we are called to do and what we are capable of doing. This is where we solidify the fact that our faith is founded in a relationship with Jesus.

The faith that comes from Jesus saves us! it brings us into an unshakable kingdom. God is a consuming fire, but we are renewed by the flame because of this faith. Is not our lives different? Are we not changed?
