The Wisdom of the Moment (The Serenity Dialectic)
"When you stepped out to volunteer this week, what was one glimpse of goodness you noticed that your depression or anxiety told you didn't exist?"
"Looking at your situation today, what part of this ache are you trying to force that simply belongs to God's timeline, and what small part is yours to carry for the next two hours?"
"If you don't receive the full harvest by next week, what is the cost of walking away from the field today versus staying faithful to one moment at a time?"
"How does seeing another person receive care through your efforts change what you believe about your own worth right now?"
Benediction: May the Lord grant you the clarity of Paul when comfort tempts you to compromise. When a thorn in your flesh buffets your spirit, may you hear Him whisper that His grace is sufficient. May He strengthen your spiritual spine against distorted discouragement, keep your eyes fixed on your calling, and sustain you until your due season arrives.
Call to Action: What is the "thorn" or the challenge in your life right now that has tempted you to abandon your race just to get a moment of temporary relief?
Community Invitation: Head over to our Facebook page. Tell us how you are choosing to stand firm in your calling despite the thorns along the way, engage with this week’s discussion, and let us stand together as a community of endurance.
