    What does it truly mean to be a person of integrity—and do you actually live that way when no one is watching? Pastor Len opened Scripture to reveal the remarkable contrast between King Saul, who deflected blame onto others, and David, a flawed but honest man who owned his failures and kept his promises even when it cost him dearly. Despite having Saul completely at his mercy in a cave, David refused to seize the throne ahead of God's timing—because what he believed in private governed what he did in public. Pastor Len offered a piercing definition: integrity isn't a polished performance; it's the absence of a mask. It's the same person in the shadows as in the spotlight. He challenged the congregation with a three-legged stool of leadership—competence, character, and compassion—reminding us that skills can be taught, but integrity must be cultivated from the inside out, and it cannot be sustained without the power of the Holy Spirit. The invitation is this: don't just absorb good information—act on it. Seek out one relationship where you are being discipled, and one where you are discipling someone else. Your integrity journey starts now, in community, today.
