Three straight losses. Three fourth quarter collapses. Three games where Nebraska looked like the better team for three quarters, only to watch another victory slip away.

After heartbreaking losses to Indiana and Oregon, Saturdays collapse against Washington has Husker Nation at a breaking point!!

Questionable decisions by the quarterback, receivers not getting open, frustrating play calling and another late game meltdown have Husker fans demanding answers. Why isn't Nebraska able to score? And who deserves the blame?

Some fans are calling for Matt Rhule or Dana Holgorsen to be fired. Others are wondering if Nebraska can ever win another game. Have we reached the point of no return?

Vent, debate, ask questions or just get it off your chest.

And GBR.

Three games in a row. This one is inexcusable.

78. 15. 31. 6.

Rushing yards by the quarter for the Nebraska Cornhuskers in their 17-10 loss to Washington.

When you have an extra week to prepare, you can't NOT prepare. You can't abandon the philosophy that helped get you there. But yet again, we saw a gameplan that relied heavily on deep heaves of the football down the field. That resulted in twenty (20) incomplete passes for Anthony Colandrea, who finished with a 54.5% completion percentage and three interceptions, including the game-sealing pick-six with 1:15 left on the clock.

A tremendous effort by the defense was once again wasted. An opposing quarterback comes off the bench to lead his team to victory in the fourth quarter. And the offense is over here unable to do the one task it is assigned...to score points. First and goal from the 5 and you don't come away with points?

Forgive me for being salty, but I understand why fans were booing and throwing trash onto the field.

We're no longer the greatest fans in college football.

We are now the most annoyed and frustrated fans in college football.

So on this episode of Overreaction, I'd like to tell you that time has healed the heart a little bit, but it hasn't.

Stop making excuses, HCMR. Start dropping dead weight.

Well, it didn't go that well last year, but I'm excited for this weekend's Second Annual Blackout Game as Nebraska hosts Washington Saturday night.

The uniforms are alternate. The field will look different. The Sea of Red will transform into the Black Sea.

Will the Huskers resemble the team that took Indiana and Oregon to the wire only to collapse and lose? Or will they play a more complete game like they did against Michigan State or Maryland, emerge victorious, become bowl eligible, and send the fans home happy?

Will the changes this weekend be purely superficial? Or has Nebraska utilized the bye week to improve in all facets f the game, overcoming injuries along the way?

There are a lot of unanswered questions, but one thing we know is that Minnie, Fred, and Greg are ready for this week's show. And they’re ready for Saturday night’s game!

Are you?
