I have the great honor of speaking with Brian Linden, the founder of the Linden Centre, unique heritage boutique hotels and cultural exchange spaces across Yunnan. He is an American dedicated to preserving and amplifying diverse traditional Chinese cultural traditions to the world. Born and raised in Chicago, Brian first came to Beijing, China, in 1984 and founded the Linden Centre with his wife in Xizhou, Yunnan, in 2008. He has lived in Xizhou since then. In this episode, he will talk about his experience navigating his foreign identity in China, the beauty of Yunnan's iridescent cultural and religious traditions, his faith-driven commitment to making an impact, and more.
