  • Disney, The Military & Real Estate: One Woman's Unexpected Path | Controlling Your Chaos Ep. 8
    2026/07/02

On this episode of Controlling Your Chaos, Cortney sits down with Tatiana Delaserna, realtor, veteran, mom, and honors student, to talk about what happens when you've worn every hat life can throw at you and finally figure out how to just be yourself.

Tatiana shares the winding road that took her from Disney cast member to the military medical field to real estate, all while raising a daughter with complex medical needs and navigating loss along the way. She opens up about the village that made it all possible, why she decided to go to college alongside her 18-year-old daughter, and the walk along the Ganges River in India that completely changed the way she thinks about simplicity, stuff, and what actually belongs to us.

Tatiana and Cortney also dive into controlling your inner environment, why overindulgence in anything leads to discomfort, and the mindset shift that helped Tatiana go from burning out to showing up calm and fully present. This one is equal parts real talk and quiet wisdom, and you're going to want to listen twice!

  • Mother-Daughter Real Estate Power Team | Controlling Your Chaos Ep. 7
    2026/06/25

This week on Controlling Your Chaos, Cortney sat down with Caitlin and Isabel Owen, a mother-daughter duo running one of San Antonio's top-producing real estate teams at Keller Williams Heritage.

Isabel started in real estate in her early 20s, stepped away to raise five kids, and came back to build something bigger. Caitlin got her license at 17, spent years in legal and tech before joining her mom full-time in 2020, and together they've grown into the top 2.5% of agents in San Antonio, producing over $14 million a year.

They talked about what it actually looks like to run a business with your mom (spoiler: it's not what people assume), how Caitlin found her confidence after years of being "Isabel's daughter," the unspoken system they use to know who takes the lead with a client, and why neither of them believes in "setting boundaries early" advice for people just starting out.

  • Building a Family Business From the Ground Up | Controlling Your Chaos Ep. 6
    2026/06/18

On this episode of Controlling Your Chaos, Cortney sits down with Norma Lira, real estate agent, to discuss what happens when a mom builds an empire alongside her husband without ever losing sight of her kids. Norma shares the journey that took her from the lending side of the business to real estate and property management, all while raising four children, two of whom now work alongside her. She opens up about showing property with toddlers in the back seat, why hiring a nanny before an assistant changed everything, and how she learned to treat her kids' swim meets and recitals like non-negotiable appointments on her calendar.

Norma and Cortney also dive into running a business alongside a spouse without crossing professional lanes, the power of leveraging support instead of doing it all, and why she still shows up to every closing and why controlling your chaos sometimes means realizing it was never about balance, just alignment.

Connect with Norma Lira on social media to learn more about her real estate and property management services in San Antonio.
