This week the Carolina Roll Call got the opportunity to sit down with Democratic Nominee for the 7th Congressional District, Melissa Watson. This race is important to Coleman and I, as we have both grown up in this area (Shoutout to Cheraw and Dillon!).
Melissa is a native of the District. She was raised in Dillon, SC. She is a teacher and she works another job as a waitress to make ends meet. We had a great time talking with Melissa discussing issues ranging from I-73, rural healthcare, and college affordability.
Since there will not be a debate for this race, these podcast episodes will be an important way for you to inform yourself before you vote!
