このコンテンツについて
We're so excited to put out the second part of our series of episodes on the 7th Congressional District: Congressman Tom Rice's Interview. Congressman Rice has represented the 7th Congressional District since 2012 and is running to serve a 5th term.
Congressman Rice is a native of the district and has started his family here and his business as tax lawyer and CPA. He says that he was motivated to run for office because his kids were coming out of college and had trouble finding jobs. To Congressman Rice a job matters because it equals an opportunity.
We were originally supposed to meet Congressman Rice at a local establishment in Myrtle Beach to enjoy some beer and interview him, however, we couldn't make it today. Watch the interview and you'll see Congressman Rice accusing The Carolina Roll Call of standing him up. Instead, Congressman Rice enjoyed a Miller Lite in Myrtle Beach, while Jacorie and I enjoyed Hazy Little Thing IPA in Spartanburg, SC. Take a listen!
