Six Congress MLAs ditched the party in the RS polling on Tuesday, joined by three independents who helped the BJP candidate win the Upper House seat in a high-voltage political drama. The defeat was triggered by the cross-voting of six Congress MLAs and three independent candidates. All of these legislators are expected to join the BJP.
