Mo! Sibyl is a two-time award-winning podcaster, cultural curator, and unapologetic storyteller who amplifies the lived experiences of Black people, Asians, and those who love them. She is the creator and host of The More Sibyl Podcast, a globally recognized show that explores identity, migration, and belonging across borders, reaching listeners in over 100 countries. With her bold, introspective voice and culturally fluent interviews, Mo! sparks thought-provoking dialogue that challenges norms and builds empathy across cultures. By day, she is Dr. Motolani Adedipe, Fulbright Scholar, health outcomes researcher, and Associate Professor. Her academic work focuses on health equity, cancer and lupus survivorship, digital health interventions, and improving quality of life through communityengaged research. As Mo! Sibyl, she uses the mic as a medium for advocacy and healing. Since its launch in 2018, The More Sibyl Podcast has produced over 300 episodes and become a hub for stories that bridge African, Asian, and diasporic experiences, blending humor, scholarship, and radical empathy. She describes herself as a Nigerian-born, US-educated, Korean-speaking, and wandering intellectual whose life and work are fueled by cultural curiosity and purpose.

What are some of the biggest challenges you face as a single parent?

- The challenges we face can be profound and often indescribable. Each day brings its own set of silent battles that test our resilience and strength. For instance, after my separation, the support I once relied on vanished. If you have children under five, you know they’re always getting sick, and as a working mother, I found myself constantly calling out of work, worrying about my job and the example I was setting for my team.

-Remember, God sees your struggles and hears your prayers. He provides for our needs, often in ways we don’t expect. Trust in His provision and embrace the lessons that come from these challenges. Your honesty with your children is a powerful lesson in faith and resilience.
